Dear Parents/Guardians:

 

It is an honor to serve as the new principal of Centennial Elementary School. On behalf of the faculty and staff, I am excited to welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year. Our staff strongly believes that the education of children is a partnership between home and school and your involvement will be crucial to our success this coming year.

 

We look forward to our first day of school on Monday, August 18, 2025.  Please mark Thursday, August 14th, for Centennial’s Back-to-School Night from 5:00-7:30 p.m., where you will meet our staff and receive important information about the upcoming school year.  Parent conferences will be held from October 20^th to October 24^th. Dismissal will be at 12:05 p.m. for TK/Kindergarten and 1:05 p.m. for 1^st-6^th grade every day during conference week.

 

The Centennial Elementary Main Office will be open until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, to support with last-minute registration requests and document drop-offs. Class lists will be posted on Thursday, August 14th, on the cafeteria and/or office windows. These lists will indicate your child’s teacher and room number. No room changes will be made prior to Tuesday, September 9th. Please note that enrollment changes may cause the creation of new or collapse of existing classrooms. If our student enrollment changes significantly, there is a possibility that your child may be moved to a different class. We will contact you if this occurs.

 

Our district will continue implementing an early release schedule on Tuesdays of a five-day school week for teacher professional development.  Please visit our district website for calendar details.

 

Centennial’s Daily Schedule:

Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten: 8:00 a.m. to 1:05 p.m.

Grades 1^st-6^th: 8:00 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.

 

Centennial’s Early Release Tuesday Schedule:

Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Grades 1^st-6^th: 8:00 to 1:00 p.m.

 

Breakfast is served from 7:30-7:55 a.m. and our afterschool program is available daily until 6:00 p.m. All students are welcome for breakfast. Parents can enroll their child in the Afterschool Program by filling out an application located in the Main Office.
